Komlife Vietnam's commitment to fire safety, prevention and rescue
“Prevent proactively – respond readily, for lasting safety.”
In all its production and business activities, safety is a top priority at Komlife Vietnam Co., Ltd. In an industrial workplace with many potential risks, fire prevention and firefighting, together with rescue, are not only a legal duty but also an ethical commitment and part of the company’s vision for sustainable growth.
With the motto “Prevent proactively – respond readily”, Komlife holds a fire and rescue drill every year to build a safety culture, strengthen emergency response and protect the health and lives of all staff, as well as company property.
Training on fire prevention, firefighting and rescue
Fire safety is everyone’s job
In a modern production environment, every department and every role helps keep everyone safe. In that spirit, Komlife is clear that fire safety is not only the job of a dedicated team but the responsibility of every employee.
Every year, the company works closely with the fire police to run realistic firefighting and rescue drills. The drill is not a formality but an essential part of Komlife’s safe, systematic operations.
Simulated scenarios to build emergency skills
At this year’s drill, all staff took part in a simulated fire in the raw materials warehouse — an area where incidents are more likely because of the nature of the products and processes.
Under the direct guidance of the professionals, Komlife staff:
- Triggered the fire alarm system
- Followed the procedure to evacuate people from the danger zone
- Used extinguishers and on-site hoses for initial firefighting
- Worked together to rescue “victims” overcome by smoke or trapped
- Supported the professional firefighters as they reached the scene

Although it was a drill, these actions call for calm, precision and smooth coordination between departments. More importantly, they gave each employee a chance to see their own role in responding to emergencies.
Training and a culture of safety
Alongside the hands-on drill, Komlife also runs in-depth theory sessions covering:
- The basic principles of fire and explosions
- Identifying and assessing potential hazards at work
- Using fire extinguishers and fixed and semi-automatic fire systems
- Escaping safely through thick smoke
- First aid for burns and inhaled fumes

The content is tailored to real production at the Komlife factory, so staff can apply and remember it easily. The company has also built a detailed internal response procedure and updated clear signs and evacuation maps in every area, so every situation has a specific, workable response.
A long-term commitment: people first
Safety is not the result of a single drill, but of continuous work, year after year. At Komlife, this means:
- A comprehensive occupational safety policy for both office and production staff
- Investment in modern fire safety systems, inspected regularly by the authorities
- Regular training to refresh emergency skills, so no one becomes complacent
- Encouraging everyone to take the initiative and report and prevent risks early
Guided by “For a better life”, Komlife understands that no growth is sustainable without a solid foundation of safety. Protecting workers, protecting property and protecting the community are the three pillars of corporate responsibility that Komlife strengthens every day.

The regular fire and rescue drill is not just an internal activity but a strong statement of Komlife’s commitment to its workers and to society.
We believe that “prevention is better than cure — being proactive is the key to safety”, and we will keep investing in training and awareness of fire safety, for the lasting safety, sustainability and prosperity of Komlife Vietnam.
